Yes. Our product development efforts have focused on ensuring they will be compatible with the variety of products with which farmers choose to apply them.
Biolevel bionutrition products do not contain nutrients. The consortium of microbes in our products makes nutrients available to the plant through nitrogen fixation and by releasing P, K and micronutrients locked in soils.
The rate will vary depending on product, formulation, crop and/or seeding rate. However, the concentration of microbes in our products is extremely high, which enables them to be applied at low volumes and still deliver 100 billion colony forming units per acre. This is especially important for seed treatment to enable the application of additional value-added products.
Biolevel product consistency and efficacy has been validated in extensive field-level testing on three continents with leading university and industry collaborators. Following multiple years of North American trials, we’re excited about the results we see in our clients’ fields.
Biolevel products have a two-year shelf life when stored under the right conditions. They do not require refrigeration but should be stored below 50 degrees Celsius (122 degrees F). Store the soluble powder in a dry environment and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. For liquid seed coatings, avoid freezing temperatures.
All Biolevel products have a two-year shelf life from the manufacturing date. Once soluble powder is dissolved in liquid, apply within 24 hours.
No. Biolevel products are formulated to go directly from their package to the seed or other input with which they are being applied.
The microbial composition in MaizeNP not only fixes N but also releases P, K and micronutrients in the soil. In university, retailer and on-farm trials, MaizeNP has consistently outperformed competitive bionutrition products.
No. Our planter box treatment is formulated with cornstarch to replace a desiccant/lubricant in your planter.
Yes. Our product development efforts have focused on ensuring they will be compatible with the variety of products with which farmers choose to apply them.
Our trials have shown that N levels can be reduced up to 40 lbs./acre without impacting yield versus full application rates. In some cases, trials have even shown a yield increase versus full application rates.
The microbial composition in PhosN not only fixes N but also releases P, K and micronutrients in the soil. In university, retailer and on-farm trials, PhosN has consistently outperformed competitive bionutrition products.
No. Rhizobia are microbes that form physical root nodules in a symbiotic relationship with the plant. Microbes in Biolevel PhosN are in the soil around the root zones and do not form nodules. The microbes in Biolevel products have been shown to greatly improve the effectiveness of Rhizobia.
No. Our tests have shown that PhosN does not impact nodule formation by Rhizobia.
No. PhosN has been formulated and proven to work synergistically with Rhizobia to help ensure crops maximize nutrient uptake and yield.
Yes. Product design and formulation have enabled our products to be highly compatible with a variety of biostimulants, fertilizers, fungicides or other pesticides.
Grower
University, industry and field-scale on-farm trials have demonstrated growers are successful in using Biolevel with reduced nitrogen and phosphorous fertilization rates (up to 25% less) but also when using the product with standard or intensive growing practices.
Legumes, such as soybeans, can benefit from nitrogen, but too much N can impact Rhizobia formation and lower yield. Trial work has demonstrated that the recommended lower application rate in soybeans provides just the right amount of N to the plant and makes the product more economical to the grower.
MaizeNP has been specifically formulated for crops that have higher nitrogen requirements. Using it on soybeans could impact nodule formation and yield. Similarly, PhosN has been formulated for crops that do not require as much applied nitrogen. It works in tandem with Rhizobia to improve overall nutrient use efficiency and uptake.
The product is fully soluble and can be used for in-furrow spray application, fertigation or broadcast on the soil with other inputs. Apply once per growing season, preferably at or close to seeding and near the root zone.
No. Once seed is treated with our products, it has a three-month shelf life.
Our bionutrition products can be used with most non-bactericidal pesticides and liquid and dry fertilizers. They are also compatible with biostimulants. To ensure physical compatibility, it is best to mix a sample in a jar.
